2015/7/19 Vegalta Sendai 1-2 Vissel Kobe

Vissel Kobe came home with their second away win of the 2nd Stage - a 100% record on the road - after coming from behind on goals from Kazuma Watanabe, from the penalty spot, and Shunki Takahashi, to take the points.

Missing only Pedro Junior and Bueno to injury, Vissel manager Nelsinho was able to keep his squad unchanged, after a 1st Stage of chopping and changing due to a plethora of injuries.

Shunki Takahashi came close to opening the scoring in the 8th minute, his right foot shot rolling past a post with the goalkeeper already down on the ground, but that was as close as it got for either team in a scoreless first period.

Kim Min Tae notched Vegalta's goal in the 55th minute after a deep corner was not dealt with by the away defence, the midfielder finding himself completely unmarked as the ball fell to him just a few yards out.

Vissel had the chance to draw level on an indirect free kick from six yards out after Hirofumi Watanabe had been adjudged to have made a back pass to the keeper. Jung Woo Young touched the ball aside to Marquinhos but the ten men on the line rushed forward to block the point blank shot!

Keijiro Ogawa and Watanabe made an appearance on the hour mark and soon combined to get Vissel level, Ogawa going down under a heavy challenge in the 71st minute and Watanabe converting the resulting PK.

Two minutes later Vissel were ahead asTakahashi latched on to a pass from Leandro, controlled the ball well, let it bounce and half-volleyed home for this third goal in three matches to give Vissel all three points!
