2015/10/17 Yokohama F.Marinos 2-1 Vissel Kobe

Early promise, a red card and a late collapse saw, by then ten-man Vissel Kobe come home empty-handed from Nissan Stadium in this topsy-turvy match against Yokohama F.Marinos.

The away team opened the scoring when Kazuma Watanabe pounced on an error in the home defence just after the half-hour mark, as Fabio mis-kicked a back pass. The ex-F•Marinos forward advanced and slotted the ball home with style to give Vissel the lead. Ryosuke Maeda was then unfortunate to see a second yellow card as early as the 40th minute and it was hard work from then on!

VIssel held on until half time but the onslaught began in earnest in the second half. Kenta Tokushige kept out two powerful shots from Ademilson to keep his team's hopes alive, but the Brazilian finally broke the Vissel resistance with a third-time-lucky low show from 20 yards to draw the game level.

And then it was Manabu Time, as the 54th minute substitute Saito's grabbed a last gasp winner to send Vissel to their fifth successive J1 defeat.
