Transfer Update – The Story So Far.
Here are the complete ins and outs for the team so far as pre-season training begins:
Goalkeeper Kenta Tokushige moved to J1 new-boys V-Varen Nagasaki while centre back Takuya Iwanami chose a move to Urawa Reds. Kotaro Omori signed for his former manager, Kenta Hasegawa, at FC Tokyo while defensive midfielder Nilton moved to EC Bahia (Brazil).
Ryo Matsumura has transferred to AC Nagano Parceiro. Loaned out players so far: Junya Higashi (to Fukushima United), Shinya Yamaguchi (Oita Trinita), Seigo Kobayashi (Montedio Yamagata), and Wescley (to his former club Ceara, in Brazil). Ryosuke Maeda also saw his loan at Oita Trinita extended.
Tuesday January 16th saw Hideto Takahashi take a full transfer to Sagan Tosu.
Incoming transfers see the return of Kota Ogi in goal, from Nagoya Grampus, after a decade away from Vissel. Also returning to the club we welcome former captain Jung Woo-young back from Chongqing Dangdai Lifan F.C. In China. Also signed for the 2018 season are centre back Daisuke Nasu from Urawa Reds, midfielder Hirotaka Mita from Vegalta Sendai and forward Wellington from Avispa Fukuoka. Apart from those transfers Vissel also gave contracts to forward Daiju Sasaki (from Vissel Kobe youth), midfielder Yuta Goke (Aomori Yamada High School) and defender Daiki Miya from Biwako Seikei Sports College.
